Our nursery is located approximately four minutes walk from the main school and opens each morning at 8.30am. The nursery day finishes at 3.45pm. Housed in its own premises with a fantastic outdoor classroom environment and fully enclosed garden, the nursery provides opportunities for a child's individual potential to develop through play-based activities.
The Head of Early Years has gained Early Years Professional Status and leads a very experienced team, that provides an excellent start to a child's education.
We aim to provide a sound foundation for the social, emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual development of your child in a way this is fun, un-pressured and stimulating. A weekly swimming lesson taken by our qualified and experienced swimming-teacher in our own indoor pool is also available.
The Nursery recently received the accolade of " Outstanding" from OFSTED.

Families may choose morning or afternoon sessions or all-day care for their child. We ask parents to complete a Registration Form and to arrange a visit to the Nursery before the offer of a place is confirmed. Nursery children, whose parents wish them to transfer to the Reception Class (known as 4+), are assessed in January of their final year at the Nursery along with the usual group of sibling applicants for 4+. This assessment is designed to be a friendly and positive experience, for which a child does not need to be prepared.
Our nursery is a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance and is linked to the Whitefries Childrens' Centre.
