Admission

Children must be at least 2 years 6months old at the time of entry

Hours

The Nursery is open from 08:45 hours to 11:45 hours, and from 12:30 hours to 15:30 hours, during term time, that is 38 weeks in the year.

Term Dates

Term dates from September 2008 are:

Michaelmas Term 2008:
Half Term Week

Monday 1st September to Friday 19th December
Monday 27th October to Friday 31st October

Lent Term 2009:
Half Term Week

Monday 5th January to Friday 3rd April (Easter Sunday falls on 12 April 2009)
Monday 16th February to Friday 20th February

Trinity Term 2009:
May Bank Holiday
Half Term Week

Monday 20th April to Friday 10th July
The Nursery will be closed for May Bank Holiday on Monday 4th May
Monday 25th May to Friday 29th May

and are displayed on the notice board outside the Nursery in Radnor Avenue.

Fees

From September 2008 fees are as shown in the table below:

By prior arrangement, a child may arrive or leave at a flexible time during the Optional Lunch Supervision session; the full charge will apply however.  The Fees are payable no less than 4 weeks in advance when a child first joins the Nursery. A payment of 4 weeks' fees must be paid when a place is offered and accepted. This will be deducted from the first term's payment. This fee is not refundable.

Any absences, whatever the reason, must be paid for.

We are members of the Early Years Childcare and Parenting Services, which means that all children eligible for Government Grant will receive it during the term following the child's third birthday. However fees are the responsibility of parents and any grant will be deducted from normal fees. If grants are withdrawn for any reason whatsoever, the full fee is the parents' responsibility.

Notice

Eight weeks' notice in writing must be given when withdrawing a child from the Nursery.

Fees in lieu of notice will be payable if such notice is not received.

Staff Ratio

4 staff to 20 children. There is a minimum of 3 staff to 20 children. Staff have the required training and staff hold First Aid Certificates.
