3+ Nursery Admissions

Children aged 3 to 4

When children apply for Little Lyons, parents will need to complete the registration form. They will then be invited to attend an assessment in which the children will get to see the classroom and interact with the current students and staff. The sessions will last around 30 minutes and there might be another prospective child attending too. The assessment will look at how each child interacts in the environment, how they communicate and respond to questions and how suitable we think the setting will be for the child. It will also give parents the opportunity to see the school and the classroom, share any relevant information and ask questions. The assessment will be conducted by the Head of Little Lyons as well as Little Lyons staff.

John Lyon Prep is an approved provider authorised to offer 15 hours of childcare funded by Harrow Council to 3 and 4 year old children.

Families are eligible to claim the funding in the term after their child turns 3 years of age and up to and including the term they turn 5.

Please note: We only offer 5-day places at Little Lyons – there are no part week places available. Visit our Little Lyons to find out more.
