Prep School takes on John Lyon School identity
We are delighted to announce that from January 2024, we will come ever closer under one clear John Lyon School masterbrand. From this point, our single John Lyon School name and logo will be used to represent us at all levels and all of our sites, including our Prep School on Hindes Road, our Senior School on Middle Road and our Sudbury Fields on Sudbury Hill.

Friends of QHS Summer Fair
The Summer Fair held last Saturday was a great success, thanks to the fantastic weather and the support of many QHS parents. Led by Dr Manju Sharma-Bhatt and Mr Anil Kavia, the community came together for this event, which was the first fair since 2019.

Values Day 2023
Values Day is an exciting annual fixture in our calendar. It not only provides us with a unique opportunity to promote and reflect upon our core eight values, but it also brings together as one 3-18 all-through school, from our Little Lyon’s Nursery right the way up to Sixth Form, to celebrate our wonderful community!
Letter from the Headmaster
After almost a decade as Headmaster of Quainton Hall School, John Lyon’s Prep School, and following a career in education spanning the last 33 years, I write to share my decision to retire as Headmaster in December, at the end of the Autumn Term 2023, to relocate with my family to Norfolk.
