Learning Support Assistant

Quainton Hall Preparatory School offers first-class teaching and outstanding pastoral care for girls and boys aged 2½ -11 years. This is an exciting time to join the School as from September 2021 Quainton Hall has now become part of an all-through school with the John Lyon School, and is in effect the John Lyon Preparatory School. Together with the John Lyon School, Quainton Hall is part of John Lyon’s Foundation, alongside Harrow School and John Lyon’s Charity.

We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our friendly and hardworking SEND team as a Learning Support Assistant on a permanent basis for an immediate start. The post holder will assist the SENDCo in the provision of in-class support for children with perceived learning support needs. We are looking for someone who has a keen interest in the care, learning and development of young children and has a positive approach to inclusive practice.

Salary: c£27,500 p.a. FTE (pro-rata to c£20,000 for working hours below), depending on skills and experience

Hours: 40 hours per week x 34 weeks per annum (term time only)
